The hotel is housed in a pretty building. The suite we stayed in was en-suite. It was good value.
-
We loved this place. The room was big and the view was great. The lounge bar was a plus.
-
The building itself is beautiful and the view was romantic.
Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.
-
Very nice building, great park, nice atmosphere, room was clean. The bar / lobby is very nice
The food was partly a little unappetising, the milk bottle was unhygienic. Buildings and rooms in need of renovation, waste lays for days in the park
-
The hotel is located just outside of Nottingham. We drove into the city with Uber(ca 14-17 pounds), a little cheaper than the taxis. Breakfast was perfect. Very nice facility
sausage and cheese etc. were running every day, cleaning service was not so great
-
Location
Hotel is in need of refurbishment and cleaning in public areas. Hotel restaurant service was poor for breakfast and food choice limited.

We attended a wedding reception, which was lovely sadly the rooms are outdated & require urgent modernisation
As above, the rooms urgently need modernisation
-
The Queen Victoria room is beautiful.
-
We were able to take the dog but didn;t have to compromise room standard

Enjoyed the setting that the hotel was in, felt I was out in the country even though in midst of industrial area, felt secluded.Liked the room , old fashioned but with modern ensuite facilities. Fresh clean linen on bed, however would have preferred duvet to an old fashioned hot blanket. Room service was excellent, club sandwich and real chips very good value for money and well presented and cooked. Hotel staff discreet and helpful.
Wished there was more than one entrance to hotel rooms have to go directly past bar area.
-
Historic building with great character, beautiful grounds, easy access to shops by car, good value, good wi-fi access, easy parking, extremely helpful and friendly staff
-
The food in the restaurant was very nice and the staff were friendly
We unfortuanetly had to wait 45 mins for desert due to a conference being served before us. The cost of breakfast was excessive with not continental option being available, as a result we took our custom for breakfast elsewhere.

An intersting building with history.
Believed hotel was in a country park which it was but while a nice setting for wedding photographs, disappointing for walking. Most of the park was surrounded with housing estates. Some bedrooms obviously had lovely views. Our very drab bedroom was at the side of the hotel above two skips which were full of black bags and a broken chair.
